It is not possible to simply copy and paste the files from any DVD directly to your computer. In order to edit the footage from a DVD on your computer you will need DVD 'ripping' software. This software extracts the video and audio from the DVD into a file that can be edited on your computer. This software is widely available for download on the Internet. Depending on the features you require, you may be able to download DVD ripping software for free.Alternatively if you choose our Standard Service we can arrange to copy the DV files used to author the DVDs straight to a supplied Mac formatted external hard disk.
